The City of Camden is making customer service and engaging with our citizens a priority moving forward and we are excited to announce that we have partnered with GOGov, a government software company, to provide a free mobile app for our city called Connect Camden SC!

Residents are able to submit service requests from their smartphones and access important city information regarding events, alerts and more. If a question arises, city staff are able to have direct communication with residents to resolve issues together, via email or phone.

Connect Camden SC features access to the following city resources:

  • Submit Requests/Concerns with the easy access “Start Request” button
  • Provide multiple photos when submitting a request
  • Track requests and send messages to City Hall Staff regarding the status of a request

Pay Your Bill

Paying your utility bill online has never been easier.  Get set up for automatic bank draft to set it and forget it.  A 2.5% convenience fee will be charged by the third-party vendor for all debit/credit card transactions.

The electric department is responsible for providing electric power and service to 11,000 customers in three counties. We strive to keep rates as low as possible and revenues generated are used to maintain/expand our electric infrastructure for our residents.

Fire Department

Welcome to the Camden Fire Department.  Our proud department covers a 45 square mile service area and is made up of career firefighters and volunteers who are ready to serve.  Fire Chief: John Bowers.

Water & Sewer

The City of Camden serves approximately 6,000 customers an average of 2.5 million gallons a day and treats nearly 4 million gallons of wastewater per day. Our city uses sampling and testing methods approved by the EPA and SCDHEC to ensure our community’s water is safe, clean and high quality.

Municipal Court

Municipal Court is at historic Camden City Hall and court is in session every Wednesday, starting at 8:45am.  The court also hosts the Clear of Court.  Payment of fines and tickets can be made at the Camden City Hall while payment of parking tickets can be made at the Camden Police Department.

Sanitation & Recycling

The City of Camden provides residential trash pick up as a part of our commitment to keeping Camden clean.  We offer trash bin pickup, yard debris pick up and special items pick up.

Parks & Streets

We know the value of green space in Camden, SC.  The parks department maintains approximately 18 city parks and much of Historic Camden; all in support of enhancing our citizens’ quality of life. It is also responsible for line painting, striping and making of street and roadway signs.
