Camden Fire Department is accepting applications for a full-time paid firefighter. Position comes with complete benefits package to include SC Police Officers Retirement, SC PEBA health, dental and life insurance, paid vacation and sick leave. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, one to two years firefighting experience and a valid SC driver’s license. EOE

PATROL OFFICER

Under general supervision, is responsible for the fair and equal enforcement of all local and state ordinances and laws. Ensures and participates in the enforcement of traffic laws and regulations to include investigating traffic accidents, ensuring safety of streets and sidewalks, directing traffic at various public events, operating various related equipment, etc. Reports to the Sergeant, Shift Supervisor.

WASTEWATER OPERATOR TRAINEE

Under direct supervision, is responsible for learning and participating in the daily operations and activities of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Will perform all tasks necessary for the operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Reports to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager.

 

Human Resource Assistant

Looking for a self-motivated, organized, detail oriented person who under general supervision, performs personnel related functions for the City of Camden. This person is responsible for such activities as processing payroll information, handling medical insurance, monitoring employment activities, maintaining accurate personnel records, etc. and reports to the Human Resource Manager.

 Requires an Associate degree in personnel administration or business administration and a minimum of two years’ experience working in personnel or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
