ARCHIVES PARK
Bordered by the Archives and Museum building, Laurens Street, Grace Episcopal Church and Laurens Court.
ARMORY PARK
(also known as Goodale Park)
Located adjacent to the old armory. The park is located at the corner of West DeKalb and Goodale Avenue.
BOYKIN PARK
(West Hampton Street & Campbell Street)
Basketball court, picnic tables, and playground equipment.
BROAD STREET PARK
(Rutledge Street & Broad Street)
A relaxing greenspace in the heart of downtown.
BURNDALE PARK
(Fairlawn Drive & Brookgreen Court)
Playground equipment.
CITY ARENA PARK
(Bull Street across from City Arena)
Used for basketball practice and neighborhood play. Has playground equipment.
CITY HALL PARK
(Between City Hall & Fair Street)
It has playground equipment and picnic tables.
EDGEWOOD PARK
(Elmore Street & Beard Street)
Located off of Battleship Road and along Five Bridges Road. Picnic tables.
HAMPTON PARK
(Lyttleton Street & Dekalb Street)
It has playground equipment, tables, and electric hook-up.
KENDALL LAKE PARK
Located off of Lakeshore Drive. Security light poles, boat ramp, club house, and other amenities present.
KENDALL PARK
(Haile Street & Park Circle)
½ mile walking trail.
KIRKWOOD COMMON
(Ancrum Road area)
This historic park features dozens of large, old trees, a marsh area and a quaint pond.
KIRKWOOD PARK
(192 Stowers Street – Kirkwood Community)
It has playground equipment, a concession building, bleachers, a baseball field, and a basketball court.
MONUMENT SQUARE PARK
(Intersection of Laurens Street & Broad Street)
This park consists of four quadrants. Soldier monuments set off two quadrants. The park has electrical hookups and decorative lights. The park includes the Camden Archives on the southeast quadrant.
POWDER MAGAZINE PARK
(Market Street at Clyburn Lane)
An inviting greenspace with a picnic shelter, tables, and benches.
RECTORY SQUARE
(Chesnut Street & Lyttleton Street)
It has playground equipment and gazebo with a fully restored fountain. The park contains two fully restored all weather tennis courts. It is lighted by decorative streetlights and has electric hook-ups.
TOWN GREEN
Located downtown behind commercial stores. Vehicle access to the Green is off of Rutledge and Market Streets. Pedestrian access is off of Broad Street. Amenities include decorative lighting with electrical hook-up.
SCOTT PARK
(222 Battleship Road)
Thirty-eight (38) acres. It is among the most heavily used facilities countywide. It contains a one mile walking / jogging track. It has picnic tables, four tennis courts, two t-ball fields, volleyball court, playground equipment and a ¼ mile running track. It has a covered picnic area and serviceable bathrooms.
