The main Duke Energy transmission line that feeds the city remains down. Duke Energy crews are currently working to restore power. City of Camden crews are working to remove trees and limbs and repair any downed lines as we prepare for power to be restored. We have not received a timeline for power to be restored from Duke Energy. Updates will be communicated via the Connect Camden app and on the City of Camden website. City Hall is open, but other city facilities without power will be closed today; Kershaw County government offices are closed as well. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
