Duke Energy has informed the City of Camden that power to the main transmission line should be restored at approximately 4:00 pm. There will likely be isolated outages for City of Camden crews to repair. Storm debris including limbs and branches have been pushed to the side of the road and will be picked up at a later date. Updates will be communicated via the Connect Camden app and on the City of Camden website. If you are still without power at that time, please report your outage by calling 803-432-2421 before 5:00 pm and 803-432-2421 or 803-432-0009. Camden Riverfront Environmental Park at 175 Bramblewood Plantation Road will be closed through the weekend due to anticipated rise in the Wateree River.
