Wake up with the birds and join us on Friday, April 18 at Nature as Teacher Preserve for a guided birdwatching hike with Robert Carter, PhD, Extension Forestry and Wildlife Agent!
This guided hike offers a chance to see a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. No experience is required—we will lead you through the best birdwatching spots, sharing tips and tricks along the way. Bring your binoculars and a sense of curiosity as we explore the birds that call Nature as Teacher Preserve home. Gates open at 7:30am. We will leave the trailhead at 8:00am. Get ready to connect with nature in a whole new way. This walk is perfect for beginners, but all levels are welcome! The guided portion of the walk will be approximately one hour. Questions?
