You’re Invited to a Community Tree‑Planting Day!
Let’s come together to make our City greener, healthier, and more beautiful. Join us for a fun and meaningful Community Tree‑Planting Event where every pair of hands makes a difference. And when you help plant a tree, you get a tree (certificates for March 14 Tree Giveaway at City Hall)!
🌱 Event Details
• Date: Monday, February 16, 2026
• Time: 9:00-11:00 am or 1:00-3:00 pm
• Location: Scott Park, 222 Battleship Road
• Who Can Join: Everyone — families, friends, youth groups, and neighbors
🌼What to Expect
• Planting native trees
• Snacks & Bottled Water provided
• A chance to meet neighbors and build community
• A simple way to leave a lasting impact on our environment
🧤 What to Bring
• Comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes
• Gloves and a shovel/rake (if you have them)
• A joyful spirit and willingness to dig in
