Are you interested in learning about wild mushroom foraging, cooking, medicinal properties and the mushroom world in general?
Join us at Nature as Teacher at 9:00am on Saturday, June 14th for a Mushroom 101 hike with Nature as Teacher’s Volunteer of the Year 2024, Beka Judson.
This is a mushroom forage for beginners – no experience or equipment required! You’ll learn how to ID a few mushroom species, how to forage in a sustainable way, and what you need to start foraging on your own.
Details: Wear comfortable hiking clothing & shoes appropriate for the weather. No dogs please, this hike won’t be a good fit for our furry friends!
Registration required for all participants.
