Lunch & Learn: “How to Study a Battle”

Joe Long, Curator of Education at South Carolina’s Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum, comes back to the Rev War Visitor Center on the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill to help understand what really happened. Use the skills taught in this Lunch & Learn to read, study, and evaluate other Revolutionary battles as we jump into the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

The Battle of Bunker Hill was one of the earliest Revolutionary battles fought in Boston, Massachusetts. Though the colonists were defeated (spoiler), it did not dishearten them, instead it encouraged them to keep fighting against the better trained, better equipped British army because the cause was worthy.
