Day at the Museum

October 3 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
Two men in Revolutionary War costumes act with muskets; one girl pets a horse while a soldier kneels by her. Text reads: Day at the Museum and Were coming to life for one day only! with speech bubble, Horses are coming!.

It is happening again!

For the FIFTH year in a row, the Rev War Visitor Center is coming to life for the day! Interact with Colonial and Revolutionary Period reproductions, smell and touch period-accurate soldier rations, ask questions, and get answers! Firing demonstrations with muskets, kids stations with continental drills, HORSES! This year we will discuss the use of horses during the 1700s and South Carolina’s state horse, the Marsh Tacky will be present to not only pet, but ride as well! It is a fun day for the whole family!

Help Us Keep the Horses Happy & Safe! Pony rides are available to guests, but for everyone’s safety, the horse owner/handler has final discretion regarding rider participation.
