Lyttleton Street is closed between Dicey Ford Road and Broad Street in Dusty Bend due to a water main break. All traffic is being detoured onto Dicey Ford Road until further notice. We will provide an update once the road is reopened. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Wild Turkey Lane remains closed, as does Kendall Park walking trail and Sweet Gum trail connector between Scott Park and Woodward Park.
If your home or business sustained damage as a result of the storm, please contact Director of Planning & Development Shawn Putnam at 803-432-2421 x1153 or putnam@camdensc.org.
Crews continue to clean up downed trees, limbs and other storm debris. We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation, as many neighborhoods experienced extensive tree debris falling during the storm and clean up is taking longer than normal weekly yard debris pickup.
Fostering Foster Animal Rescue is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated return of their Barn Dance fundraiser after a four-year hiatus. This exciting event aims to raise crucial funds to support the rescue and care of animals in need.
The Barn Dance will feature live music from Landslide, a delectable dinner catered by BColson, refreshing drinks, an evening of lively dancing and the well-known silent auction with fabulous finds will be ready for bidders. Guests can look forward to an unforgettable night of fun and philanthropy in support of a great cause.
The event will take place at the picturesque Bock Estate and Venue’s grand barn on October 19, 2024 from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Tickets for the Barn Dance will be available for purchase online at fosteringfoster.com beginning July 15, offering a convenient way for supporters to secure their spot at this not-to-be-missed event. Tickets to attend are $55 per person and are very limited, so you are encouraged to purchase ahead of time.
An army of volunteers and local sponsors have built the Barn Dance into a fundraising success, previously pulling in more than $40,000 a year. “After 4 long years, our beloved fundraiser is back, ensuring that we can continue to save the lives of even more animals in need. Let’s dance, make a difference, and wag our way to a brighter tomorrow! Join us for the barn dance of a lifetime as we kick up our heels and raise the woof!” said Andrea Walker, Founder of Fostering Foster.
