Meet the Archaeologists!

Join us for a walking tour of the work being done by the American Veterans Archaeological Recovery team at Historic Camden.

You’ll see the team in action, excavating areas of interest and completing a Geophysical Survey to identify areas for future study!

Tours are 25 minutes long and begin in the parking lot of Historic Camden. The tour will cross Broad Street together to reach the excavation area.

What to Know Before Registering:

This will be a short walk on mostly even terrain.

Visitors should wear appropriate footwear for walking on grass and mud, and be prepared for the weather conditions that day. As long as the conditions are safe for the team to work, tours will be rain or shine.

Tickets are free, but donations to the program are always greatly appreciated.
