6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration

The entire community is welcomed to the 6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration in Kershaw County, scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Camden City Arena. Juneteenth is a time that highlights education, achievement, and progress.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their personal lawn chairs. Enjoy a hot dog or perhaps some fried fish and fries, all free of charge.

The Liberty Stage at Camden City Arena will showcase various artists and community leaders offering cultural expressions to celebrate Juneteenth. There will be music for all, as well as the Empowerment Stroll, where various vendors and organizations will provide valuable information to improve the quality of life for our citizens. There will be something for everyone to enjoy and learn from.

Organizations can register for an information table in the Empowerment Fair by May 22.
