The Great Corn Husk Doll Challenge
Artists Attic Studio & Gallery invites you to join our Corn Husk Doll Challenge, featuring Margaret Bass’s traditional Corn Husk Doll Kits.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Get Your Kit
Purchase a Corn Husk Doll Kit by artist Margaret Bass at Artists Attic Studio & Gallery for $7.
2. Create Your Doll
Use the kit to create your own corn husk doll. Let your imagination take over! Your doll can be traditional, whimsical, funny, fancy, spooky, seasonal—or completely unexpected.
3. Enter the Challenge
Return your completed doll to Artists Attic Studio & Gallery by Saturday, October 24th, 2026 (no entry fee)
4. Let the People Decide!
All entries will be displayed in the gallery from:
OCTOBER 28 – NOVEMBER 28
Gallery visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite creation throughout the exhibition.

The doll receiving the most People’s Choice votes will be crowned the winner!

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The winner will be announced during our After Hours Art Gift Shops event:

4 PM – 7 PM
Challenge Rules:
• Doll must be created using a Margaret Bass Corn Husk Doll Kit purchased from Artists Attic Studio & Gallery.
• Artists may embellish their doll with additional materials.
• One entry per person. (No entry fee)
• Completed dolls must be submitted by October 24, 2026.
• Artists Attic Studio & Gallery reserves the right to photograph entries for promotional purposes.
• All entries remain on display through November 28, 2026
• Voting is open to gallery visitors during the exhibition.
• Winner is determined by the highest number of votes.
