Quaker Cemetery was established in 1759 when Quakers, early settlers in Camden, were buried there. Near the musicians is a serene, walled section for children from the Mayfield Children’s Home (now a private residence). Next to it is the Strangers Plot which gives unidentified people a beautiful resting place.
Veterans from the late 1700s to present rest at Quaker Cemetery, 713 Meeting Street in Camden. Brochures will be available at the entrance, as well as light refreshments. Sponsored by the Quaker Guardian Angels 501(c)3. Donations accepted.
