Bring a picnic dinner\, grab some takeout from your favorite local restaurant or enjoy food and beverages available for purchase on site. \nKicking off the concert series on Thursday\, September 14th is Camden’s own Rusty Davis & Friends\, playing classic rock and timeless tunes that will have you singing along. Music begins at 6:00 pm with one of Rusty’s student musicians as the opening act. Rusty Davis & Friends will play from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. \nBeer and wine are permitted on Town Green during the hours of the concerts. No glass containers are allowed on Town Green. In the event of cancelation due to weather\, notifications will be placed on the City’s website and Downtown Camden Cultural District social media channels.

Runners and Walkers are welcome!  Race proceeds benefit the Mobile Nutrition Center which is a mobile food pantry that delivers healthy foods to sites located in rural Kershaw County\, SC. The MNC directly serves clients by removing barriers that prevent access to food like transportation and income. Through community partnerships\, MNC delivers farm fresh\, store-bought and even rescued food and grocery products like vegetables\, meats\, whole pastas and rice\, and baked goods to food insecure people.Health and Homeless initiatives in Kershaw county operated by the United Way.of Kershaw County! \nThis certified and officially timed race starts at 8am. The course will have three water stops and lots of friendly volunteers to guide and cheer you on the the finish line! Your registration includes a quality Springdale 5K Shirt\, FREE Waffles with all the fixings at the finish line for our registered runners! DESCRIPTION:The Arts Center of Kershaw County is proud to welcome back Dick Goodwin’s Big Band to the Wood Auditorium! \nIf you’ve ever seen a performance by the Big Band\, you know it’s an experience. Dick Goodwin is a talent of incredible range\, having worked in virtually every idiom from jingle to opera\, jazz band to orchestra. That mastery is present in the Big Band’s performances\, where the set list is meticulously tailored to suit the audience. \nDick Goodwin’s Big Band has been dazzling audiences with jazz performances for almost 50 years. The Big Band formed in 1973 when Goodwin was teaching at UT in Austin. The group followed him to Columbia later that same year\, when he was hired to start a doctoral program at USC. Many of the original members are still performing with the group today\, including its drummer. \nWhen he’s not working with the Big Band\, Goodwin serves as a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the USC School of Music and has had a long association with the South Carolina Philharmonic composing\, arranging\, occasionally conducting and playing double bass and trumpet. Along with Dick Goodwin’s Big Band\, he continues to lead the Dick Goodwin Quintet\, which has toured across the world.
