DESCRIPTION:Free concerts return to Town Green this fall\, with a variety of music on Thursday evenings in September and October. Get your blanket or lawn chair\, family and friends\, to enjoy live music outdoors. Bring a picnic dinner\, grab some takeout from your favorite local restaurant or enjoy food and beverages available for purchase on site. \nOn Thursday\, October 12th\, you can swing the night away with The Tony Torre Orchestra. Led by Tony Torre\, the band is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. This 15 piece Big Band based out of Myrtle Beach will be playing an evening of swing hits with an occasional turn to blues\, beach music and pop favorites. Music begins at 6:00 pm with a local student musician as the opening act. The Tony Torre Orchestra will play from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. \nBeer and wine are permitted on Town Green during the hours of the concerts. No glass containers are allowed on Town Green. In the event of cancelation due to weather\, notifications will be placed on the City’s website and Downtown Camden Cultural District social media channels.

We encourage students to come with long pants to help protect legs in nature\, and closed-toed shoes. Rainboots or outdoor shoes preferred. Students may choose to bring a lightweight backpack or daypack with extra socks (incase of wet creek feet) or watershoes. \nDirections: Our address is 247 Chestnut Ferry Road in Camden. From Walmart in Camden head north on Springdale Drive\, toward the race track. Chestnut Ferry Road (a dirt road) crosses over Springdale drive at the bend. Turn left onto Chestnut Ferry road and continue down until you see our pinecone logo sign. Our driveway is the last on the left. After proceeding through our gate\, do not stop in the maintenance lot. Continue down our long driveway\, past the right turn\, and into the parking area. You will see our green and tan restroom building near the trailhead. If you are arriving in a bus\, the bus parking is just beyond the fire hydrant on the left side of the driveway.

The MNC directly serves clients by removing barriers that prevent access to food like transportation and income. Through community partnerships\, MNC delivers farm fresh\, store-bought and even rescued food and grocery products like vegetables\, meats\, whole pastas and rice\, and baked goods to food insecure people.Health and Homeless initiatives in Kershaw county operated by the United Way.of Kershaw County! \nThis certified and officially timed race starts at 8am. The course will have three water stops and lots of friendly volunteers to guide and cheer you on the the finish line! Your registration includes a quality Springdale 5K Shirt\, FREE Waffles with all the fixings at the finish line for our registered runners!
